Well, Karen & I took part in our Corvette friends Poker Run on Saturday the 24th. Could be a minority report but, we had more than our share of attention... The Poker run covered around 75 miles of south east Louisiana. Just trying to get them physced up for the Mopar vs Corvette Drags on Feb. 29th... I may be in the minority than but, I'll try and hold my own...

We started the Poker run at Starbucks in Slidell, La.

2nd poker pull was here across from UCM museum. 39 Corvettes, one Prowler & two pickup trucks in Abita Springs...

Lone Prowler at back of pack...

UCM museum (you see umm)...

UFO strikes Airstream trailer and their were some aliens inside...

3rd Poker Pull in parking lot of Abita Beer in Abita Springs

We got to sample some of the Abita products like Turbo Dog, Amber, Purple Haze, Light, Bock and Root Beer (my choice)...

Kat was a back of pack being polite... I held up the rear and only the two pick ups were behind us...

More pics continued next thread...

4th Poker pull in Ponchatoula, La.

Collinswood Museum in Ponchatoula...

5th Poker pull at Murphy's in Hammond, LA. Our final stop and lunch location...

Murphy's parking lot...

Prowler made it to front row...

Good Fun, Good Food, Good Friends...

Karen and I left Mandeville around 8:30 in the morning and returned around 4;00 pm. Skys were overcast all day but it was enjoyable day... Now, we're getting ready for the Mopar/Prowler vs Corvette Drags...

Sounds like a great time. Did you have to sit at your own table?

Chris.

We were able to mingle and sit with Vette friends. Not sure where the pickup guys & gals sat. We didn't have any luck with our poker hands (didn't have worst hand but, no winner)...
