Dave I talked to them at Hardcore. You have to transfer the funds to them via electronic banking. I was going to buy the frame, tank, front end, oil tank and rear fender. 12500. And assemble it myself. As for Jesse James Nah. Way over priced and the style just doesnt do it. Those bikes arent built by billy lane. The Chopper is build by Mike at MGS cycles in Lancaster, Ca. The Hardcore bike is built in germany. Gary whatca looking for a couch on wheels. LOL. This message has been edited by OnDProw on 02-02-2004 at 03:23 AM |

butchcee The only builders on that link that I think are any good are Arlen Ness, Ron Simms. This Mike from MGS is good. Paul sr rode that green chopper at the easy rider show that just passed. He loved it. |

quote: I see where you can think that I said that the bike you were sitting was Billy Lanes. Not what I meant--should have started a new paragraph. Still talking about Lane or any other builder-- it's hard to come up with new concepts every build. People pay the big bucks to be unique. Some are hits, some just suck trying to top the last bike. I dont have the site anymore, but someone sent me some shots of current bikes that Lane did and a couple were outstanding. Good idea to get a roller that you like and finish it your way. Keep us posted about which way you choose Rudy and post some work in progress shots please. |

Wow,there are some awesome looking machines out there. I currently ride a Shadow Ace 750 and will probably add a Yamaha R1 to the fleet this spring(miss the cornering a whole lot)! |
