Voom has 21 High def channels...I currently have dish network with only 8 high def channels...and only CBS as a network HD. Hopefully Dish will catch up to Voom so I don't have to scrap my equipment and spend another cool $1K to get more channels. On the bright side, I just upgraded my DVD player to progressive scan...WHAT A DIFFERENCE! My DVD's look almost high def in comparison to my old interlaced scan player.... I highly recommend the Harmon-Kardon progressive scan player....It holds up nicely to our 57" HDTV.
