Hi everyone, just got back from Mexico, forum has been busy as usual....can't wait for this darn snow to go away so I can take out my Kat.....how was eveyone else's holidays?? I remember a few months ago this guy was going to take his Kat to Acapulco, did it happen? I sure hope not. We had a few run-in's with the Policia down there, they are total jerks, always after the American and Canadian buck with bribes. Glad to be back on-line

Hola Christina,

My wife and I headed to Mexico also over the holidays. It was wonderful to go from frigid Kentucky to laying on a beach under a warm Caribbean sun, the sounds and smells of the ocean... wish I was still there!

We were in Playa Del Carmen. It was a pleasant trip other than the constant solicitations. Everybody tries to sell you something... Security in the airports was a breeze. Adequate but not overly invasive.

Mike

I'm supposed to go to Puerta Vallarta Feb 28 and Cabo in April,( Kids spring school vacation) I have 2 Timeshares and i like Mexico. I have another For Daytona 500 Race week, but i'm not going this year.I like the mexicans, they don't bother me, i tell them when i'm not interested and they get the message. Be firm say what you want and thats it.

I was in Playa del Carmen for the 2 weeks, went to Cancun to visit the disco's on several occasions. I speak spanish well after living in Acapulco several years and teaching scuba diving. Locals don't bother me much, usually a no gracias will usually do. I partied tooo much, but everyday I was on the beach with smiles (I love the ocean). I sure hope that poor guy makes it back from Acapulco with his Kat.

Chuck, My brother has a time-share in Cabo sometime in Feb or March, not sure. He has offered it to my wife and I anytime we want. Never have taken him up. He says it really is nice down there.
