Bob (Enduro) and Karen Wilson drove down from Milwaukee just to have dinner with the locals this evening. About a 6 1/2 hour drive one way. Luckily we picked a restaurant that stayed open past 9:30 PM this time. Great to meet you two and thanks for coming down.

"About a 6 1/2 hour drive one way." Ed - That is the testimony of a person who really wanted to meet you and see what makes you tick!!! Congrats to Enduro Bob for the effort

I think that is how he got his screen name. lol Actually, it turns out he sets up Endurance races around the upper mid-west. About 100 cars, 300 laps or 300 miles (not sure which) and they have a pit stop every 65 laps for gas. If the car breaks down, it sits where it stops. Sounds like our type of entertainment. If you beef up your engine you do not last the 65 laps since 8 Gallon tanks are mandatory. We have gone to the Preble County Fair here in Ohio to watch the demolition derby. No cars, only Combines, as in Farm Machinery Combines. Hilarious. We will probably see one of his races this year or next.

Just got back home. Had a great time meeting the Cincinnati folks. Couldn't ask for a nicer group. Was it worth 13 hours in the car? Yep. Would we do it again? In a heartbeat. Sure beats sitting on the couch watching reality TV, and after all, this is what it's all about...right. Thanks again for all the hospitality, and we look forward to seeing each of you in the near future.

Carefull AC. I haven't been to the southwest for a while, and I always enjoy a good meal. Let's see...if I leave now and only stop for fuel, I could be there for breakfast on Tuesday. LOL. I look forward to meeting you as well. You guys crack me up! Gonna have to re-arrange my vacation schedule and get to one of the national events.

Geno, I'd love to make to make the Texas event, but can't this year. If nothing else, I'd be up to meeting along the route and traveling south for awhile, and then breaking off and returning home. I'll watch for your catavan posts.
