I wonder why they are showing this now though? That has got to hurt sales of existing and 2004's till this one is available.

I hear they are still having problems with the top. Not to knock Chevy but i wonder when my dealer sometimes fills my Trailblazer with six quarts of oil (when it takes seven) how are they going to handle a SSR?

It looks mean, purposeful, and fast, but not much like a Vette from the front. I can see why purists may be up in arms by the new model. The front looks too much like a Ferarri or something, but not a Vette...even though the fixed headlights are an improvement from an engineering standpoint, I thought once they went to hidden headlights, they should stay there. At least GM resisted that$#@! chrome bar that they have to shove on every model... I guess the bottom line for me, is that the new Vette design won't stand out in traffic for me...certainly nothing like the Prowler does..
