Look at the junk the high bidder has bid on before and won. I'm thinking 14 yo kid....

$32 million buys ALOT of boat which this isn't.

While their ad makes it seem like it's a real cash cow, they fail to mention all the costs associated with just running this and keeping it afloat (not to mention all the crew needed). And how many folks are going to pay $50 a day to sleep in a swing down canvas hammock stacked 4 or 5 high???

LOL! Find 32 folks each willing to kick in 1 million each to buy it, then divy up the $10-15 million annually to maintain it and fuel it (God forbid any equipment fail).

Then all you have to do is fine 200-300 qualified folks to run the thing for you and pay them.......

Course I would pay to see a prowler catapulted off the carrier at mach 3

In the span of about 2 hours, price has jumped another $20 million.

One question, if all the parts are so valuable (over $5 billion) and this vessel can pay for itself in one year, why is the Norwegian government selling it when they could make 10 times the final selling price doing the above?????

I think a bunch of kids are having alot of fun bidding on this. There is a reason the Norwegian government is decommissioning a 57 year old boat.....

SHIP IS SOLD " AS IS WHERE IS " BASIS

Price has jumped another 20 million to over 70 million.

I doubt anyone has gone to check out the boat before bidding on it. Now who would bid 70 million without at least looking at it and surveying it????

This must be great sport to bid on this for fun in Europe.
Price is over $90 million now. I love that the highest bidder has never bought anything and one of the other highest bidders has only bought used Atari games...
