As we all know the DRBIII cost $6,000, does anyone know of a software program for my laptop to read the computer codes in my 2000 Prowler. Any help will be appreciated Thanks Roland Treasure Island, FL |

Roland -- Many Autozone and other auto parts dealers will read the codes if you drop-in. You might call to see if this is offered in your area. Good luck. ------------------ |

For those who are interested I am looking at several programs to read the Prowler codes. They vary in price from $200.00 to several thousand dollars. I should have some options for any one who is interested by mid February. Neal ------------------ |

I haven't researched this in quite some time, so this may be a stupid question based on memory: Isn't the DRBIII just for the body computer? If I read the original question right, it sounds like rkissin1 asked how to read "the computer codes". The basic codes are Federally required to be read by any OBDII instrument (which is what AutoZone and others use to offer "free code reading"). I guess my question is, "How much (if anything) can be read with a standard OBDII scanner? What additional info is obtainable with the DRBIII?" -GRROWL |
