This Inferno Red convert was in the Touring group of PT line, but did have the Turbo engine. This one sure needed the larger 17" tires and chrome wheels to improve it's appearance. JMO If the dealers can hold down the gouge factor on the converts, I believe a younger age group of buyers will consider buying this new line.
We first seen this car at the DC Black Tie Party in August of 2001. Been a long time coming,,,,but it's here now!

Sure would like one in silver. Wonder what the rear visibility is like?

Ranger - I didn't see the DC person who brought the car to the show, so I didn't get to sit in it. It appears with that high top boot in place with the top down,,,,visibility will not be too good. JMO

L.E.

The "rollbar/plate thing" really diminishes the convertible image. I could probably get over it, if DC would put a real motor in them?

Very nice collage of Cruiser Photos. Thanks for posting.
