We are not going to get into a pricing war with other competitors, we are offering our services, experience, and our drive to be the best 5 Star dealer within the Hendrick Orginization. As an added benefit for you Nascar fans, we are working on some purchasing power with Hendrick Motorsports on thier merchandise. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you and all the other fellow members, sorry for the long post. Jeff Hunter |

Jeff, I for one appreciate anything you can do for us. A lot of vendors have stepped up and offered the Prowler owners great deals. Thanks again. ------------------ |

Jeff, I would like to add my thank you for the offer and may be in touch come Spring. I don't know if this would be practical, but the one Mopar item that I have a problem with is ATF Plus 4 transmission fluid. My local dealer quoted $15/quart, but I've heard of it sold at a much lower price. Do you see any way that you can offer this in case quantities at a reasonable delivered price? Possibly direct-ship from Chrysler or warehouse to avoid double-shipping costs? General Note: Chrysler requires ATF Plus 4 for all 2000 and later Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge models, and recommends it for all Chryslers/Plymouths/Dodges back to before the birth of the prowler. (If anyone knows of a Chrysler-certified fluid, or one that meets Chrysler specs, I would certainly like to hear about it. Note that Valvoline states that they will support MaxLife in this application but will not state that it meets Chrysler's specs. I also can not find any of the additive packages that state that they meet the specs although some state they will "outperform" ATF Plus 4.) (Back for an edit - for discussion of ATF+4, see: http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/001359.html ) Thanks Jeff. I look forward to working with you. -GRROWL This message has been edited by GRROWL on 12-24-2003 at 01:53 PM |

grrowl, WE ARE WORKING ON GETTING PERMISSION FROM UPS TO SHIP CHEMICALS. RIGHT NOW WE CAN'T. I SHOULD BE ABLE TO SHIP SOMETIME AFTER THE FIRST OF THE YEAR. THE PRICE FOR ATF+4 IS $4.73 PER QUART FOR YOU GUYS. IF THIS IS SOMETHING YOU GUYS WOULD LIKE LET ME KNOW. JEFF |

WOW, THANKS! If shipping costs don't blow this away, I'm in for 2 cases. Let us know once shipping is worked out, there's certainly the possibility of a Group Purchase, every Prowler Owner should be interested (at least all 2000's on NEED it). BTW, I get a lot of detailing supplies buy UPS, generally quarts. Is the ATF Plus 4 flammable? If not, it seems pretty routine. Thanks again. -GRROWL |
