When I first joined the POA back in April of 01 there were less then 1,000 members and I thought that was a lot now almost 3,000, I have had a lot of fun, learned a lot, stuck my .02 in where I shouldnt and seen a lot of good names go by the way side for one reason or another. However to each of you I would like to wish the very best Christmas ever and a wonderful Happy New Year. As Roy Rogers said "Happy trails (PROWLIN) to you until we meet again" Merry Christmas to all and all a good night. block-buster

Curtis - I agree there have been a lot of people that have left but some have returned later and there are always new members coming on board. As much fun as it is seeing old friends at POA events; Rebecca & I always seem to enjoy making new friends, too. The POA experience is so much more than just driving the coolest car down the road. I can't wait to see who is still here five or ten years down the road. Merry Christmas to all ------------------ 2000 Black with hand painted blue faded to purple flames

I have always wanted a Prowler since the first time I ever saw the concept car in magazines. I just could not afford the premium price they were asking at the time. When they stopped production I figured I would never own one and would have to just hope I could afford the next "cool" car that came around. Well just browsing E-bay back in 2002 I saw that I could still buy one with low miles or even new. Finally in July 2003 I found found my cat with 600 miles on it and was ready to and able to take the plunge. A dream come true. The sad part of this dream was that my brother, who restored a 46 Chevy pickup and was a Dodge man all the way(everything else he owned was a Dodge), had passed away in January 03. I had always told him I would get one someday and now he wasn't here to cruise with me. When searching for that Orange '01 I would search the web for all the info, good or bad, that I could find on the Prowler so I could know what to expect. That is when I stumbled across the POA. At first I just browsed and read others post's to learn what I could. When I knew that I was going to commit to buying my cat I became a member. I was welcomed by many and was invited to many outings last year. I was able to make Carlisle in July where I met MeanGene in person who prompltly began to show me his car. At that time my car was on a hauler somewhere between Dallas and Baltimore. I couldn't make PTS (not enough notice) and missed another get together in Lancaster in September when my mom passed away. It's been a tough year. So unfortunatly I have not had the oportunity to meet anyone else on the board but I am looking forward to a better '04 in which I will be able to do this. I've been a member for six months now and I browse the board everyday to see whats new. I can tell there's alot of great people here and I can't wait until I can get out to meet some of you and attend some events. Before the Prowler I belonged to some Dodge truck forums that were informative but noone ever got together and did anything. The POA on the other hand feels just like a big extended family. I love my Prowler and will never part with it willingly. So here I sit on Christmas Eve posting to the board and watching my wife wrap presents. Here's wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Guess I better go help. Yea right! ------------------ Gary K

Gary, it surely sounds like you GET IT. I am looking forward to meeting you. Sorry to hear of all the misfortune that you endured this year but you got a cat so that eases some of the pain and it will bring you a lot of fun in the future. merry Christmas and nice story.
