They were really curious WHY it wears a POA license frame
There is a Vette emblem that goes on the nose also....but the new owner must install that....part of the rules ...there is a little gold pearl in the clear coat to soften the white so it is not so bright.....the car is going to be cleaned/detailed again and shipped the first of the week.....anxious to see it return home....still can't believe it's the same car...

Tangled,
Just saw one ...white and red, here in Naples at a car show.... WOW!!!! It is one beautiful car.
Many years ago I had 1955 #600 and had to sell it when we were married.
Makes me want to do it again.
Best wishes with the new car.

A real 1953 Vette next to a 1953 / C5.....look alike, but quite a difference too....

Looking really good. I love the side by side photo. The newer one is much sleeker looking, especially in the shot from the rear. Sharp car.

Tangled- WHAT A KNOCKOUT!!!!
Thats the only car I would trade my Prowler for.
By the way, what did they do with your old Vette sheetmetal? Give you a credit towards the new body for it? Just curious....Regards, Buddy.

BUDDYC....the old body panels are kept by AAT as part of the deal.....they are sold to a parts recycler and are probably already on the streets on various cars.....I checked into keeping the parts, and I could have made a few $$$ by keeping them and running them on EBay, but it wasn't really worth the effort to ship, advertise and ship again....besides, my wife can't bare to see her "baby" in various pieces...she has never seen any pix of the car since we dropped it off in Detroit the middle of September...
NASTYCAT.....The car is still in Detroit, and will be shipped to Indiana in the next few days....was going to drive it home, but the weather turned iffy the last several days.....

BUDDYC...just noticed your address....I lived in San Antonio twice....once in 1971 for a few months, and again from Mar '73 till Nov. '74....was working for our "uncle"...lived just inside the loop on Springvale Dr.....near the back gate to Lackland...I seemed to be the only guy in San Antonio driving a MOPAR then, EVERYONE else had Fords and Chevys...

ps...just wanted to thank everyone for the kind comments concerning the car(CHEVY).....I realize not all cars please everyone.....just as long as my wife is happy with the car, that is all that really counts....she has never really liked the Prowlers to drive, or ride in, or look at even....not really a Viper fan either....come to think of it, the only cars she has ever really liked are her Corvettes thru the years....I realize it's not even a MOPAR......I sorta look at the car as a "Chevy Prowler"...same general concept....again thanx for letting me show the pix....I must admit, I am more anxious to see this car than anything I have bought in many years....

NICE!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Beautiful Car! Your wife should be very happy for a long time!

It looks like the stock exhaust down low in the rear yet has the exhaust through the body look too. Very cool.

I am curious to what that silver car with the big looking wing is in front of it, in the shop photo? Any more shots of it? Kind of looks like a mid sixties '64-67 fast back sting ray highly modified?

Congrats on your new Car! Sweet!
