Man oh man. . .you guys in the warm climates sure do have it nice in the winter. But I couldn't take the summer heat there, so. . .

The Kat is hibernating in the garage, but my Ariens 1128 is freshly tuned, clean and waxed, battery charged, and ready to throw the between 15 and 25 inches of snow we are expected to get between now and tomorrow evening. It cuts through deep snow, even the nasty piles left by the plow drivers, like the proverbial hot knife through butter. If one has spent most of their life heaving snow with a shovel, I can tell you that clearing a good sized driveway with one of these babies is an exhilerating experience!

Chuck - We in Phoenix are 79 miles (one hour/nine minutes) from the snow line areas around Payson, Az. That is as close to snow as I want to be. If I want to see it, I drive to it! NO snow shovel in my hands for over 28 years! You can keep plowing and shoveling,,,I'll take the sun and cat driving condition nearly every day

6" yesterday. And it has been snowing all night. Maybe 9-10" total. I'm not sure as I haven't ventured out yet. One thing that is certain is when it clears the cat goes in the bag til spring!

Alley Cat---I bought a Polaris 700 Sportsman ATV (with Snow Plow) last spring (a Lot of snow last winter)!Snow blower couldn't handle heavy stuff. I had a blast this morning playing around with it. It gets boring sometimes and it gives me a reason to get outside. i guess you warm weather folks never heard of "Cabin Fever" either.
