Olympus and Canon are great. For $200, though you will be looking at a NEW camera of about 2 megapixels and a 3X OPTICAL zoom....Digital zoom is terrible and degrades the final image.

I spent around $400 wanted higher Zoom and Megapixels Check them out in stores and then get online and see if you can get a better price. Only remember shipping costs. a lot of cameras are out of stock now because of Xmas. Good Luck

Watch a lot of the cameras on ebay for low price they are imported and called gray market with no warranty in the usa for 50 or so buck better off to look at the local adds in the paper.

Like CT I perfer the Olympus,I have had a couple of them amd been very happy with the out come and if you have windows XP it makes working with them very easy.

$299 got me a Kodak digital 3.1 mega pixel, 3x OPTICAL zoom as well as 4x digital zoom...PLUS it takes up to 12 minutes of MOVIES WITH SOUND! The thing is silly I tell ya! Just amazing. Kodak put so many useful features in this camera...IE: set your own "ISO" speed and exposures, plus it takes 4 photos in one second if you needed to do a high speed capture.

I can't recommend this camera enough. It is worlds better than the HP Photosmart I had that died.

Don't know what they are going for now, but we love the Minolta Dimage we got last year - I'm sure prices have dropped, and it's worth checking out.

Funnest toy we have next to the Prowler!!

I don't know $^*% about digital cameras but check out http://www.1pcsource.com/digital_cameras.php

I did find an HP 4.0 megapixel for under $150 there http://www.1pcsource.com/prod_detail.php?ProdID=D5684

I have and use Sony Mavica ,FD-85,FD-90,FD-95 all three are user friendly .The best thing I like is the versatility, floppy disk and memory stick will due video clip and easy to down load .These models are being discontinued so they can be had for a very reasonable price.
Also the new models that are replacing these have great features.

some people like the Kodak cameras and I did too until mine quit. The repairman said other brands he can get support from manufacturer for the repairs and parts, NOT SO WITH KODAK, they want you to send it back to them, the online quote to repair mine was min $125 ~ average $175......so for $175 I think I'm in the market for a new Digital camera........and they chareg $15 for you to talk to a tech after it is out of warranty.
