Geez, I don't know if this is for Mike K or Beware.
One of the kids that is in Sandy's jail gave her an article torn out of a magazine. Pg. 116 from what looks like a collectible price guide or world record book. About the size of a paper back book.
"The Gem Prowler, which has been valued at $ 210,000, was cut from the world's largest amethyst-a rough amethyst from Bolivia that started out as 15,000 karats and finished at 9600 karats.
Its other components include one pound of white gold and 18 karats of white and canary diamonds. The windshield is carved out of rock crystal. It was created by US firm Diamond Cutters International for Chrysler Plymouth to inaugurate the launch of the latter's new Roadster in 1997."
There is a b & w picture that is in poor shape.
I had never seen this before. CJ probably owns it by now. lol.

Ed , WOW! I guess I need to start playing the lottery again. That things cost more than my House, and our three vehicles combined.

Then why are our prowlers selling for 20K - 30K ???

If people are paying this kind of money for a diecast, we should be selling our Kats for at least the same inflated price the dealers charged or more since they are now classics...

Dan, It is Blue and one of a kind. They are worth about $ 200,000 accoding to market study done 18 months ago.
HIGH VOLTAGE Blue or Amethyst Blue, makes no difference. This one did not have a trailer, however so I guess Mike got the better deal. lol.
