You'll have to pass on it. You won't enjoy the speed, the thrill, the adreneline rush, the looks, the pictures, etc, etc

Good pricing...my next door neighbor sold his '94 red to a dealer for 33K a few weeks ago...hard top and 10 K miles.....
Several problems(nothing serious) with the early RT/10 Vipers....
*** most serious are the head gaskets....they ALL NEED REPLACED.....check to see if these have ever been replaced, quite expensive to have done...
***hoods all have a small stress cracks near the front on the drivers side....standard fare...if is missing, could have had paint work....
***side sills(exhaust pods)...have a tendency to develop spots like rust about the size of a 50 cent piece....some dealers still replace these under warranty....not really expensive to repair, but it will return every year or so.....was due to the brackets causing the aluminum to corrode from the inside out.....ALL RT/10 VIPERS HAVE IT/WILL HAVE IT/OR HAVE HAD IT REPAIRED....
***The cars leak like crazy in the rain...have seen some get a couple inches in the floor during a long trip in a storm....The 2 I had leaked moderately....especially around the leading edge on the windows...during one trip I carried a half dozen towells to put across my lap to soak up the water.....

The cars are RUDE...CRUDE...LOUD....full of imperfections....but about as much fun as money can buy....if you can live with the fact they are not a Cadillac, they are a race car without numbers, the car may be for you.....my daughter had one once with almost 100,000 miles....ran like new.....they are virtually indestructable if not abused on a regular basis....A LOT OF CAR FOR THE MONEY....let a dealer run a service history on the car....do the Carfax thing and if possible have a VCA member to look at the car with you....if it is a good car, BUY IT....you will never quit smiling....I have had 8 different Vipers in the last 3-4 years, and my daughter has had 4.....they are all different animals....BUT THEY ARE ALL VIPERS....

Larry is right on. Depends what you are looking for.

Early RTs are crude and rude
Later RTs/GTS are a little rough but mean
New SRTs are refined and awesome

Rick - but with that's Kat it's a 2+2...right!?! I think I'm still in selfish "recovery" mode from the divorce.

TIB/Wayne - Head gaskets... ~mileage? Dealer VIN checked good, regular mx and nothing odd.

Local Service rep told me he thought it was TOO LOW mileage (dried seals and stuff)!

Joe - Catwoman is on her way to Georgia. Let her test drive it before the final decision is made
