Last year someone was talkin about tires on a Cadillac CTS....anybody know who it was?
Reason being...Kandace is wanting bigger rims and tires on the CTS and not sure what MAX SIZE can be with out rubbing on wheel well.
She really wants the new SRX cadillac, but hopefully this will help curve that.
Thanks
Kyle

We have put 20" wheels on them with no problems.

Hey thanks man! I may have to snag the car from her one day, find some, and suprise her!
Can you suggest a brand of tire, i assume they have to be a low profile, & wouldn't even know where/type of rim to even put it on?

Thanks!
Kyle

Gary C. was talking about the snow tires he bought for a CTS (Michelin Arctic Alpins) - was that what you're remembering?

No, Gary said he went with 16's on the snow tires:

These tires really blow my mind, a friend was here from San Diego (gearhead racer) and he too was truly amazed by the winter performance of these tires, I went with 16's to have more sidewall flex which gives more bite and went with the narrowest tire they had in stock, you don't want a tire that's wide for the snow, the narrower the tire the more bite you get,,,,,,,, I hope this all helps....

There is one problem, the car looks pretty silly with the combo I have on there but tires are like having chains on all 4 corners,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hey, Gary,

Was looking for you to jump in.

Have the Arctic Alpins on the Firebird, so, BRING ON THE SNOW AND ICE (just kidding).

hey guys, thanks for all the input!
I agree...snow tires in texas..hmmm not this year...but it was (i am now remebering)what the post referred to.
Cnote- I will try to catch up with ya and check on what we can do for her car.
Gary- Have you seen the new cadillac srx? Reminds me of A cts front with a squished rear section of an escalade. She likes it....i tell her that it looks like a cadillac station wagon...hehehe she gets mad as HECK!
