Congrats to Arnold for the big Calllleefornia victory!

It will be interesting to see how this plays out during the next few years. Lower taxes, more jobs, caps/control over spending, and education funding. Very big job,,,hope it all happens! He surely can't do any worse? JMO

I'll bet the folks in Minnesota are getting a good chuckle out of this, just like we did when JV was elected.

Big difference between the two. Arnold commands $25-30 million a picture.
Doubt the Jesse ever saw the top side of $1M.

Arnold is also a shrewd businessman.

He owns several blocks of downtown LA and his real estate holdings (last I heard)
exceeded $130 million.

He also employees something like 150-200 folks in his various business ventures.

I really got a chuckle when , prior to voting booths closing, the democrat
talking heads were saying all the folks getting out to vote was a backlash against
Arnold.

Yeah, some backlash. LOL!

I too got a chuckle when the commentator stated that Arnold had more private secrurity than Davis had CHP security

Well, if Warren E. Buffett (one of the richest men in the world) from Omaha, Nebraska is going to help him with restructuring the finances of California, I'm sure he will do well. Buffett, a Democrat, is very shrewd. WAIT A MINUTE,,,,a billionaire is a Democrat? And you thought all rich people were Republicans

have you seen Buffett lately ..... I think he has gone senile - some of the comments and antics he has done - out of character for him.......and you are right - most rich are Republican - there are a few exceptions, some of whom grew up Democrat. You seem to have more generation commitments than we do in Canada (i.e. Joe Blow is a democrat because his father was a democrat and his grandfather was a democrat)

Wayne - I haven't seen Warren since last year when he was on a live tv show. Thanks for your input.

I agree with your assessment about how we grew up and commitments through generations. I on the other hand grew up with both parents as union workers and Democrats. I seen the light after college and switched over to be a ultra conservative Goldwater follower. I was a union worker for 30 years, and was in the minority amongst my peers. It is because of the high income earners who invest in business, manufacturing, and research that the majority in the middle class have jobs. The lower class exists because of far too many U.S. government subsistence programs, laziness, and Wal-Mart needs employees!!! Only joking with the last sentence.
