It came down to the pitcher Lowe,,,who had that one special pitch on those last two A's left handers. He had their number on that pitch. Sorry JD,,,,at least your team made it that far and they gave it their all. Nothing to be down about when you leave your heart on the field.

I was glad the Cubs finally won and I loved it that Florida won with the ancient Jack McKeown leading them. There were several great games and a LOT of bizarre plays and calls by the umps in all of the series. Then I watched the last couple of minutes of the Colts v. Tampa Bay football game. What a bizarre game that turned out to be. I would like to see the Cubs v. the Red Sox in the World Series.

They have great pitching. They lost several good hitters the last few years. The only thing they lack is hitting. Look at the Red Sox they Hit, can't pitch! I'm a Met fan look how they have gone down the tubes the last few years. ------------------
