tangled up in BLUE Prowler Junkie Posts: 11086 From: New Castle, Ind Registered: DEC 2000	posted 10-06-2003 08:29 PM ...Just got a call from my business partner and buddy Russ...his 96 GTS Viper became the first "supercharger only" Viper in the world to break into the 9 second range today...the car ran a 9.90 at 144 mph...it is producing 867 rwhp and 818 rwtq....the work was done by Heffner performance in Baltimore, Md....the engine has a stock bottom end, no nitrous, and was running on pump gas, all supercharger......I drove the beast when it had a measley 750 rwhp....what a car....congrats to Russ and Jason for pushing the edge just a little further out there....a true 9 second street machine.... I've seen similar dyno numbers with a Paxton install at RSI. I don't know if they've taken one to the track yet. The 60 foot time is awesome. Were they running slicks?
