I was at the Chrysler proving grounds today doing some test driving and about noon or 1:00pm there was a gold Prowler parked out front. It had a hood bra on it and was not one that cruises with our group. Plate frame indicated it was bought in Pasadena. I left a sticky note under his wiper telling him about the POA, gave him my handle in here, and told him to look me up and join us on cruises in the future...
I test drove the 300M Special, PT turbo, and Crossfire. I was impressed with the difference in the regular PT and the turbo, but all I got to do was put the turbo on the dragway. They wouldn't let me take it on a course. It has MUCH better off the line get up and go but slugs back down going into 2nd. The 300M Special was a nice car. I think it was a little faster on the dragway than the crossfire. It handled nicely on all the turns on the course, and handled any bumps fairly smoothly. The crossfire was really nice to drive. The seat didn't go back as far as I needed it to tho. Was really easy to handle on the S-curves, and had a nice tight turn radius. He wouldn't let me take it over any bumps saying it sat too low to the ground. Hmmmm... All 3 had antilock brakes. Thats not something I liked on any of them.
