They are not really from Microsoft. It is just a new way to spread viruses. Microsoft has stated they are not the source of the emails.

I get those too and my Norton catches them. Those emails have viruses in them. I found a lot of Microsoft Windows EX upgrade it contained viruses.

They will only provide updates via "secure" web pages. ------------------
