bad day at the dock....the car was totally under in seconds....owner escaped okay.....

It seems it was the result of backing in to far to pick up or drop off a jet ski......there are other pix of the car completely submerged with the driver standing in the water holding on to the Vette....

Would that be the reason they came out with the Corvette boat(I saw one at the boat show last year)

I would think some amount of Alcohol was involved? I can't laugh to hard as I did the same thing with a jacked up 4X4, I must have put the boat in this landing 50 times but as any car guy does I lifted the truck 12 inches and put 40" tires under it, when I backed the boat off the trailer the back of the truck floated up and well you know the rest, the front of the truck did not float as good as the back.
