I need a bike rack for my kids bikes.
I need a rack that only holds two bikes and takes up as little room as possible. Space is tight until I build my dream garage in a couple of years.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Randy,

If you didn't have that awsome bra hanging up you would have more room in the garage!

When you say bike rack, I think of what you put in a hitch to carry them around. (Best way i know how to get exercise with them!) But based on the rest of your post, I think you'r looking for a way to store them in a garage? If that's the case, look at this. I have one similar if not exactly this one that allows me to stack my bikes so I only take up the floor space of one.

Hope this helps.

I just bought a couple hooks from Home Depot and hung the bikes from the ceiling. Just mke sure you get the hooks in the studs.

$5 at Lowes. They work great. Screw into a stud for best results. I mounted mine high enough so that I have useful space below.

Why would you want to put a bike rack on your kids bikes?

Bill - Thanks for the compliment on the bra. Yours is sweet too.

Yeah, when I said bike rack I meant a bike storage rack. My son's bike, like many made today, does not have a kickstand and it either has to lay down or lean against something and that something sure as ______ better not be the Kat!

idive - Hooks are a simple idea I had never thought of.

Mike - The wall hooks from Lowes might just be the ticket.
Lowes is a man's mall, ain't it! (Good 'ole North Carolina outfit).

Gray Ghost - Left myself wide open for your comment, didn't I?

Thanks all!
