Click below to go their home page - scroll down to see the pics. Thankfully they weren't hurt!! Car really doesn't look bad considering what it could have been. Some scrapes on the side, broken front bumper and the nose messed up. http://www.tailofthedragon.com

AC: Tail of the Dragon is famous with the bikers - it's 314 hairpin turns in 11 miles in Deals Gap, TN. We all drove it Wednesday. Frank and Brandy went over the edge down an embankment and the website is for the Tail of the Dragon. They put out the pics of anyone who has crashed or had a mishap on the Tail when it gets ran by groups, etc. T

Tami - Thanks, now I get it. Kind of like the Az cruise we did afew weeks back,,,,,,Devil's Highway Route 666. It involves nearly 1,000 switchback turns coming down from 10,000 foot elevation to the desert floor at under 1,000 feet. WOW, what a rush!!! A real rollercoaster ride!

Tami,

I'm going to copy the story here as well. Don't know how often they update the web site and I'm sure others will want to see after they get back. Just in case... So happy everyone was unhurt.

From the web site :

Wednesday August 27, 2003: The Dragon was crawling with Prowlers and BMWs on the way to their annual meeting in SC. There were 110 Prowlers attending a nearby rally and most of them "did" the Dragon. One had to swerve to avoid hitting a stalled car in a blind corner and went off the steep bank some 40 feet. Miraculously the driver and occupant were uninjured. A potential deadly accident turned into a party atmosphere SEE PHOTO ABOVE. The car, with minor damage, was pulled-out with a wrecker and went on its way.
