Tonight I went over to N. KY and met Rodger Scorgie and two of his employees, Jake and Mark. They are here from New Zealand on business visiting Campbell Hausfeld plants in the area.
Rodger owns a Red 99 Prowler. (The BEST, incidentally). He bought it used in Vegas and had it shipped to New Zealand and then had it converted to right hand drive. It is mandatory to have right hand drive unless the car is 20 (or 25?) years old or older. He has a lot of pictures of the process. Scary to look at. They even changed the angles of the gauges on the dash. Changed the mirror controls, the inner door panels, you name it, they reversed it except for the seats and the shifter bezel.
Due to a few changes in their schedule and a bit of confusion at the hotel I was the only one that made it over there tonight. The hotel kept telling me they were not there and since I could not contact them, they made other plans for dinner a few minutes before I called and got thru to Rodger. Ken G. and Andy were also going to meet them but with the confusion did not know what was up until it was too late.
We now have tentatively planned a 9 AM Saturday meeting. I am hoping to have several of the locals show up so we can take them for a short cruise. They are going to a REDS game Sat. afternoon. Ken G and I will be there. Hopefully someone else can show up. Please let me know.
Rodger has a lot of questions about the car. There are two in New Zealand, I think. They are all 3 really nice guys.

I'd bet those color keyed center caps would look good either cruisin down the road or as bikini tops, eh?

Yeah... but I doubt you'd be able to convince Rodger to wear 'em...

THANKS Ken and Andy for coming thru in the pinch. I appreciate it. I think Rodger, Mark and Jake enjoyed the ride to beautiful downtown Rabbit Hash, KY. They loved the General Store and the Pig Crossing sign.
Thanks again.

It's interesting... the way this happened to begin with. It started with my post of the Prowler Map. Several non-members including Rodger emailed me to be placed on the map. Rodger emailed me about his unique prowler and also that we would be visiting, so I forwarded the info... I'm glad you guys got the chance to hook up.
