About 8am this morning my wife came in screaming she wrecked the car again. She backed over a Honda Accord good way to meet your neighbor.

This is a link of the last wreck.

Chris - are you sure you want Christy to be your designated driver in the future? :D

I hope it was only a fender bender. Please don't make her dye her hair before the Smokies event!

I'd take her to Coney Island and let her drive the bumper cars and get it out of her system>>>>and then, nothin to do but laugh it off and let State Farm do the rest...
Besides..she's too cute to get mad at!! and most of all she said YES to marrying you!!! Like you're the bomb???

CNOTE--I know the feeling!!!My Wifes car is a 2003 Jaguar S-Type-R 400HP 18 inch low profile Wheels with Huge Brembo brakes!!!Rims are $870 and tires are around $350. There is about 3 1/2 " between tire and rim. You really can't hit any potholes or you will slit the tire and bend the rim. Well she's going shopping a few months ago and she must have ran into a pothole and blew the tire!!Well she's driving on the interstate doing at least 70 mph, people waving at her and she just waves back. Guys honking horns etc. She goes shopping comes out, goes to another store come out, another store. And finally she notices she has a FLAT!! She has a guy jack it up, on an incline and the car moves forward after he has the wheel off and it crushes the jack and is sitting on the Rotor when i show up!!!It cost a few hundred more for a new jack! I don't drive with her much, and just the other day i only went 3 miles to body shop to pick up blue kat and back and i'll never do it again!!She doesn't even try to avoid any potholes, low curtain drains, any thing in her path. I cringed everytime she hit one and the cash register started in my head. I've tried she doesn't give a SH_T what i say or think, i'm just being critical LOL!!! Give up Men never win!!!Never, Ever

I know I know I am accident prone.. mainly due to not paying attention. Trust me Chris could not make me feel any worse than I have already felt about it. I love that car and I feel terrible. I went 3 yrs without an accident, I can't say the same for his speeding/traffic tickets.. LOL. Anyways it will get fixed and luckily it is a bumper can't same the same for the Honda that got hit though.

Christy

Barb has just seen the new Porche, "Red pepper Thing", When i told her how much it costs she said great!!!I like it!!I said i'm not spending that kind of money on a SUV that does 150MPH!!!She had 2 Mercedes ML430's and didn't want a Mommy Mobile!!!!I'd buy her a Hummer first, how much damage could she do to that. I'm more worried how much damage she might do to others?

This is a picture of the "womens only" parking facility where my wife works ...I love this picture Could tell you stories all day, but in short my wife has crashed every car she has driven on a regular basis for the last 35 years....even drove one car over the rear of another of our own cars once...sliding off interstates...sliding into the woods at our house...the last being an entanglement at a flower shop with her new Vette(had 900 miles on it)....the list goes on and on...luckily, no one ever injured....

Okay, okay.........not all women have driving problems like that!! I am very cautious especially when driving my cats, always looking out for potholes, loose gravel, driving behind gravel trucks (that's a no-no), curbs, speed bumps, etc. etc. etc.

I've been driving for 37 years and have had one accident that was my fault and one that wasn't. I've had two tickets (the accident) and a yellow light. That's it!!

Hey, Chuck, just love her and buy her a Taurus. Then she can drive it anyway she wants. Just put a BMW sticker on the hood and tell her it is a new design. Bet she will be happy and you won't need to cringe anymore. Stay Happy..

It thought that an "oldie but goodie" from the last time might help!

Looks like youz boyz needs some advice.......

At my age one can honestly say that you have seen it all. I have had a few wives and many girl friends (I have out lived them all) that have had less than sterling driving skills. You may remember, from a previous post Dew Bun, who was just 33 when she wrecked my XKE but then again, that’s another story.

I find it very admirable that everyone feels that you should be thankful that she was not injured and let bygones be bygones. Neigh, I cannot concur. This is a serious offense and it needs to be dealt with accordingly. You slack off now and you may be setting a precedence that will plague you for many years to come.

Remember, what ever reaction you take now will serve as the basis for future situations that have similar circumstances. Given those parameters you have to give this careful consideration.

I say beat her. Thrash her to within an inch of her life and the next time she will have a better understanding of your thinking process. Your in the tire business so bring home a tire iron and kick the living s**t out of her. Or, as an alternative, strap her on the spin balancing machine and run her up to about 125 MPH and commence a close order smacking drill!

I find that a once a week beating, coupled with a stern lecture on the importance of complying with my every wish, seems to help Dew Drop run smoother. I usually use Saturday as the designated beating day as this gives her time to heal before seeing the public on Monday.

Lastly, as many of you know, Dew Drop competes vigorously each year for the famed Squaw of the Year award. Many times, she has been "aced" out at the last minute by a young fresh thing that accomplishes some spectacular feat at the last minute or, she screws up and does something stupid that prevents her from winning.

I would definitely say that in this case, Christy has jeopardized any possibility of becoming Squaw of the Year in your household. She should start a serious campaign to rectify the situation. A good tire iron beating, coupled with a close order smack drill might just be the winning combination to snap her back into reality.

I gotta run as Dew Drop just read this post and she has commenced to kicking my *** all over the property and the neighbors are a laughing and shouting and, right now I have a heap of embarrassment. I'll get back to you with further instructions when Dew Drop goes to bed and I can write more freely.

Anything I can do to help you youngins in your personal relationships is certainly a positive for me.

Scot
