As long as I'm in the "posting mood", thought I'd post a pic of the finished front suspension. No chrome!

Looks great!
Reminds me of Frank Peri's Blue Tie front end.
I think it looks just as nice as the real chrome at a fraction of the cost.

Very Nice!!!

This is the way the front should have been done.

If you don't mind the question, how did you do this?

Thanks

Did you have this done by the Guy in Lake Park, FL? What is the name of his business? Cost?

George,
Im sorry if im answering wrong but I will try as best I can, it seems the natives are restless.
We met a fellow, I believe the name of his company (in Florida)was Bike Butler! He specialized in polishing aluminum parts at a very reasonable cost. If I am correct he charged somewhere in the range of $600 or $650 to polish all the parts on the front end. I noticed many asking for some answer and hope I have helped out.
George your car looks great and congrats on the trophy at the last car show!

DQ, that is hard to believe! That price sounds way too god to be true. Ask him if he wants to come to Cincinnati. We could keep him busy for a month or so. That looks great. Did he disassemle the front end or did the guy do it on the car, on a lift??? How long did it take him?

I am hoping George will post with the telephone # Im not even sure this was the fellow he used. I know all the parts must come off and this fellow grinds them by hand and then polishes them. I think that price was correct, I think Jay Yeller Kat had his done also...... looks great! I had a card but lost it all I remember is the name of the business was BIKE BUTLER! Pretty sure of the price though! Mike DQ Man

The problem is ... it takes 10 - 14 days to get the parts polished and nobody has an extra set of parts for an exchange program. Jay Harris is working to put something together. As far as pricing, when he statred the price was $650.00, but I thinks the price will probably go to $750.00 or maybe even a little more. I watched and this is not something that is quick and easy. Needless to say, even at $750.00 it's cheaper than chrome. A bit more work, but not that bad. I just had the rear done. Very COOL! I can get with Jay and see what's up. One way or the othet, The Bike Butler's number will be posted on Monday.
George
