I picked up the "Prowlin the Smokies" shirts from Bryan this evening. I will try to get Andy to take some digital pictures of them tomorrow or Friday and post them. I think they look great. Good job, Va. Cat DUDE on the design. It look killer good. Bryan, the embroidery guy sold his GTX and bought a totally stock, untouched 1966 Belvedere I, with a hemi in it. It is a 4 on the floor and only 38 were made. There is no badge on it since it was produced in Dec. of 1965. It has HP2 on the front fender, very small. The car was never restored and has 10,000 miles on it. It is maroonish red. What a sleeper. They made about 95 automatics with the hemi in the base model Belvedere I. It does not even have a radio in it. He has the original narrow tires but took them off to help the ride a little.

I have spoke to Bryan several times at the different events. He told me he was going to sell the GTX, what a beautiful car, but if you want rare high $$$ car sounds like he has it.....as far as fast.....most street HEMI's are not that fast since they are detuned to the point of being a dog (seen a Hemi `69 Charger run 15.1, I would have not run it if it was THAT SLOW).......I would think his warmed over 440 in the GTX would run with if not beat his HEMI car

What year was his GTX?? I wish the 17 yr old kid that had the chance to buy a brand new off the show room floor 67 Blue GTX 440 auto Convertable, would have had the sense to not put his foot to the floor going up a fairly steep hill with those real wide F70/14's going up in smoke LOL while his DAD and salesman in the car with him. Needless to say POP wouldn't let the young man buy it.Hemi's man there's no sound like them, never owned one seen a few in some of my buddies cars, 67 GTX, 69 Super-Bee, 70 Cuda. Like Larry said seemed like the street Hemi was really d-tuned I beat both the Superbee and Cuda with my 70 Nova 396 cu in, all these cars where stock off the showroom floors also except we put different tires on them PK This message has been edited by PROWLER-KEITH on 07-17-2003 at 08:47 AM

PK, I do not know what year his GTX was but it was RED and looked great. It had been restored and it appeared almost perfect.

PK, I finally found out it was indeed a 67 GTX. Man, that car was just about perfect. He wants to get a Viper but wants to drive one first. I offered Andy's. I figured that was the least I could do. lol
