Mean Gene,
Is this the place we're supposed to be staying at on the way from Maryland?
Should I book a room there?

So Glad that you guys decided to stop in Christiansburg. I didn't even have any time to hype it up. I live about 5 miles from the Hampton Inn. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help anyone with travel plans. I will check this week to make sure I will be in town. Maybe I can set up a cookout at my house or something. I would love to meet some of you and check out your cars. I may drive up to stop 1 or 2 and join the cruise.

Buk,
You thought it was by accident that we picked Christiansburg? We all figured a free meal at least. You don't have any banjo pickers close by - that know the theme to Deliverance do you? Those northern boys need a little music with dinner

Looks like I will pick you guys up at Stop #1. Hey, Gene i spent 4 1/2 years in Blacksburg so I was one of the guys that liked the idea of stopping there. It was actually RebelBob who brought it up.

I actually haven't seen deliverance, but isn't the theme "dueling banjos" it is on the Prowler CD, track 11 I think, maybe 13. Any way a friend I used to work with plays the banjo all the time. He "dewels" with his father a lot.
