I had some problems last week-end and now I cannot get to any site that requires JAVA apparently. I am trying to order my mom's prescriptions thru Merck-Medco and I get the opening page and cannot get any further. I also tried AdvanceRX with the same result. I do not see any banners under any posts on the POA. Any computer gurus have any clues for me. I am still clueless in Cincinnati. |

Those questions are moot. I called Dell, 3 or 4 times and we took the computer back to basics. Lost everything. No big deal but it still has some glitches. I will work with what I have until I figure out what to do next. |

Chuck, Wouldn't that make a great name for a sequel to "Sleepless in Seattle"-"Clueless in CT" |

Ed, Two possibilities come to mind: 1- Java is disabled. Go to Tools at the top Internet Explorer and click on the Security tab to see the current setting. 2- You pop-up ad blocking software that is possibly preventing the Java from running. ------------------ |

Thanks Mike. I reconfigured the computer back to ground zero. I have to figure out how to retrieve email from Road Runner instead of MSN and resize my screen and I think I am in good shape. I should have that finished by the Smoky Mtn. trip. lol. |

Okay, everything seems to be working perfectly except I cannot reduce the size of the screen so that it fits. I am going to control panel and setting but it will not permit me to reduce it. It's as hard as Dell, I tell you. |

Ed, If you're trying to change resolution, right click on your desktop and select properties, then the settings tab, then reset your screen area on the slider. Hope this helps! ------------------ |

Mike, it would not let me slide it. I just called Dell and I had to re-install the Drivers and that did it. SUCCESS. Thanks a lot for the suggestions. Everything is working. I did not know the POA had colored pictures. lol. |
