Dear AlleyCat,

As usual - you missed another great event. Just when you think you been to another car event - Kat events are just a little "special". WillBill and the NJ "gang" (I'm using that term loosely hear-for fear of reprisals) really outclassed themselves. A DJ with music, 24 Kats, 14 PT's and loads of fun meeting everyone. For a questionable weather day, they really went all out for making everyone feel welcomed - THANKS AGAIN - GREAT CAUSE!

Hattie Nicarry tied to give me some of that "wacky tobaccy" again - I tactfully declined. The doctor said I would be drug free in about a few more months. I now see how Wayne affords those mods - cash crops in PA - who would have guessed. Thanks for the dance - Hattie. I guess the Jimmie Hendricks - Purple Haze song, brought back some memories for you too!

My apologies to Ray Gonzalaz and Myron Hewlett - I guess we saw a "little" more of southern NJ than we had hoped for.

Bob, Carol, Bill, Lucy, (No AC - not the movie) as usual, you make the event for me.

Ed MonoRed...I sorry for for not getting the "RED" Prowler convention invitation in NJ to you sooner. I think all the "other" red Kats on the planet are in NJ, we had 8 in this one event.

AC, on a personal note, IF you ever go to that part of NJ, bring a sleeping bag. I traveled in a twenty mile radius - not one major hotel chain. I passed on Vito's "Sleepin' with da' Fishes" motel chain, near the pier - something about the 5 bags of cement, that bothered me.

I go to Atlantic City, and the only parking space available, is used by John Miller's Kat. That lucky dog goes to the valet, and gets the front row. It gets better...the valet moves a C5 'Vette to give him that spot. They park mine behind the southside dumpster - musta been the southern drawl of mine!

AC, I guess it was about time for ......."lifetime achievement" award, I won a trophy and a plaque.

MeanGene - CONGRATS on the trophy and plaque. Was it for plaque in your teeth? Parking near the dumpster has it's rewards,,,,I did that three weeks ago, and they wanted to tow my cat away from the bank parking lot. Do I look like a bank robber? There actually was motels/hotels in that 20 mile radius,,,,,they just pulled down their signs when they heard you were coming to trash the place up,,,aka as Prowler Trash crowd. Maybe if you weren't 2,417 miles from me, I could attend one of your great events? DJ at the car show? We have that situation every week at our local car show but now they are considering saving money and have me doing karaoke instead. Sounds ok to me,,,,I sound like Roy Orbison most days. Don't apologize to Ed for getting the invitation late,,,,,the last time he was on the mean streets of New Jersey the locals kicked dents into the side of his rust infected Intrepid, stole two hubcaps while at a red traffic light, and he paid $20 for driving instructions which took him down three blocks to the next set of brothers from the hood to further update the driving directions for another $20. I guess Ed's looks just didn't fit in there in NJ?

Sorry I missed another great East Coast Possem event

I have actually attended a few events back east. Lancaster, PA and the Blue Ridge Pkwy. event. I go coast to coast, not like some wimps with 475 total miles telling us where to have national events or Alley Cats. The Intrepid did not even have hubcaps. That was an option and I declined the option. Open wheels, just like the big guys.
MeanGene, I know you try to edumacate him but it is a hopeless cause. Thanks for almost inviting me.

Alley Cat,

I just wanted to let you know that we had to let Gene win that big trophy so he could pay his debt in Atlantic City.

Gene:

Hattie said that she would have enjoyed the dance more had it not be for your two left feet.

Gene: I did not say that. I said you got to tired to dance anymore. Hattie

Wayne.

Wayne,

I think Hattie was tried...what did you guys do the night before?

AC, Ed has attended some East Coast events with his "snake-oil" Kat...you know...selling things out of his trunk. I'm surprised Sandy had any room for her stuff.

You both missed Niagara Falls and NJ Charity events, well there is always da' Smokies

MeanGene - someday, someday! (4800 miles roundtrip)

Monahan, yes you travel coast to coast,,,,,many times on the GoldWing, lol. The hubcaps were not an option on the Intrepid,,,,they popped off and you were too lazy to put them back on Even the plastic parts rusted out on that Intrepid

PT - thanks for presenting the real facts of the cruise!

Ah, yes. MeanGene is eminently qualified to provide instruction in both blackjack and dancing......NOT! It was quite the site to see him wandering around the casino with his front pockets pulled inside out, asking strangers for spare $1 chips. And yes, fellow kat owners, you would've been proud to see the Kat parked reverently in the "pole position" in front of the Sands Casino.
