....A couple of years ago I got a notice in the mail from the city of New York....I had just a few days to rush them $65. for a parking ticket or be charged a late fee...well, not being one to pay without playing, I called them to see how I got a parking ticket in a town/state I have never visited.....well, they didn't know either, but if I sent in the $65. I could appeal the ticket, you can ONLY appeal a ticket you have paid....well, again I asked for some info such as a copy of the ticket(the whole thing reminded me of "Alices Restraunt Massacree" and I was sitting on the "Group W" bench)several months later I recieved a copy of the ticket, it was my plate number but said it was a Dodge truck....the plate was on my wifes Corvette which had not left the garage for quite a while due to winter weather....anyway, another call, they were less than sympathetic to my new found evidence, or lack of evidence depending on whose side of the ticket you are on....still no give....sent them a copy of the registration showing the plate was on a different car than stated on the ticket....can not appeal till I pay the fine....I blew it off, had better things to do with my life than deal with bureaucratic idiots....for nearly a year I have gotten threating letters from a collection agency DEMANDING I pay the ticket...I kept a few of them in my dead file just for laughs.....now I get a letter from the city of New York stating I have been found guilty in court and will be arrested if I come to New York....yea, like they don't have enough other problems than to have an APB looking for that Bell guy that owes them a parking fine....I was found guilty in court because I didn't show up to fight the case(I wasn't even notified there was a case)....well now you guys all know, I am a wanted man in New York City, will be arrested and have my property seized, and sold to satisfy the fine, late fee, court costs and what ever other BS they come up with...again, I have never been to NYC, my car has never been to NYC, I don't own, or have ever owned a Dodge truck....no wonder the big cities and the government are buried up to their a$$holes in paperwork....no one has the mind or the authority to say "Hey, there is a problem here", fix it and move on.....just don't plan any Prowler events in the Big Apple...I may never see Indiana again...ps...I have seen the movie "Papillion"

I thought that old song was, INDIANA WANTS ME, SO I CAN'T GO BACK THERE. Who says you can't go home?
Or maybe it was, I FOUGHT THE LAW AND THE LAW WON.

I see the problem, you have never owned a Dodge truck. That's a crime by itself. They are great!!

Maybe this is a new cheaper campaign to get folks to buy Dodge trucks and not have to hire Ms. Dion to sing about them

YF...
....still drive my trusty gray 85 GMC pickem-up with the rusty doors, recalled fuel tanks and a shell with holes in it....what a beauty...to me a truck is something to haul crap in that I don't want to put in my car....it looks like a reject from a bad cowboy movie...never really ever wanted a new truck but they sure are popular these days....when I lived in Texas many years ago, the bumper stickers on many of the trucks there said "I'm a Roper, Not A Doper" and "Eat More Possumm"....just never saw myself driving around in a vehicle with those bumper stickers and a chrome plated "EASY RIDER RIFLE RACK" in the rear window .............later kid
