Dear AlleyCat,To tell you the truth...you missed another awesome event. The trip up was quite a site - 12 cats coming across the Rainbow bridge was better than the falls. The cruise around the city with 50+ Kats was breathtaking. I met a lot of new friends and some of the old ones waved - from a distance. Thanks to all who made this a "keeper" event. Nice job - guys! AC, its nice to have some friends that give you direction or mis-direction. On the way back we (Dave Mills and I) came back a different way. We (read into this) missed a turn (PTLeftTurn - Craig is Dave's son). Ol' well we said, Dave needed to go a little further west and I needed to go south. Dave recommended I take Rt 44 south - I took him up on it. AC , do you remember the route in the Wizard of OZ, where they are trying to rescue Dorthy? Imagine that scenery and using a dark and dank logging road, passing hikers using Himalayan pack mules. I passed a couple muddied 4x4, that asked if I had a tow chain. I wonder what they had in mind? The townships on this road all had quaint names - Youhanney, Youghnanny, but when on the top of the snow-capped mountain I saw - Yourscrewed, it made me pause for reflection. Good thing God smiles on fools - EH! (That's a Canadian EH). This message has been edited by MeanGene on 06-09-2003 at 07:42 AM

Hey Gene.....glad to hear you made it home okay. It took us about 20 minutes out of the way to get back to 219 to head home. Maybe you should have stuck with us. Brenda did promise to feed you......or maybe that's why you went the other way!

Gene - Sorry I missed it,,,I've always wanted to see the Falls. Hell, I'd just like to make it to N.Y. state to make sure that Butchchee really exists, lol. Consider yourself lucky,,,Dave was going to send you on a trip to the Love Canal area.I'm glad everyone had a great time,,,,that is what a Prowler event is all about. ------------------

Roman,I had a hoot. You and Jane should definitely take me up on my offer - it may get better. The East Coast posse is the only way to travel to events.
