I've had it with my local Chrysler dealer. I'm looking for a good DC dealer in central Va and I am open to suggestions. This was the last straw. Not going to get into the details, but I had an appointment today. When I went in, they didn't know anything about it and said they couldn't take me until next week. I told them forget it. I'm going to find another dealer. And I don't care if I have to drive 2 hours to get there!!! At least maybe I'll get served.

By the way... I don't get ticked off very easily. This place just does not know how to handle the fundamentals of customer service. If they can't at least get that right, I don't want my Cat in their hands - I just don't trust them.

Damon - idive has a good point. You expect a 5 star dealer to give a 2 star owner the best service? Sorry we live too far away, but there is hope. I switched last year when the dealership I had been going to lost their Prowler Tech. The new dealership - Perkins Chrysler -has been outstanding. Good luck on finding someone you can depend on. I understand what your going through have had a few run inns with my local DC dealer. Don't stop only by leaving call the 8oo# or the customer one number and log your complaint and back it up with a written letter stating your disatisfaction, all so list the times, events and keep the heat on.You will get results !!The number is free and call offen if your still upset find out where the regional office is and raise some Heck There! We as customers and the buying public have a right to be heard!!!!!!!!!! You can cause thier 5-Star rating to be lifted ,with enough complaints filed .

I can personally vouch for Waldorf Chrysler in MD. That may be less than 2 hours for you. I drive an hour to get there even though there is a Chrysler dealer around the corner from my house. They give me a very specific time to come in and take the car in withing 10 minutes of arrival. Same mechanic (Jim) works on my car every time, and he, and the Service manager have TONS of respect for the Prowler. They know all service is while I wait, and they take care of the car. I did have the incident where the senile lot guy drove my car into a brick pillar last month, BUT that resulted in more than special attention for my car now! Noone but the service manager will drive the car into the garage now. they will not repeat the same mistake twice. Jim isn't a cert prowler tech, but knows them pretty well now and understands the Prowler owner's devotion fully... I highly recommend him.

I have the same frustration with my local 5 Star dealer! Just switched to a small dealership that has a Prowler tech who loves the cars. He even talked to me personally! The 5 star dealer wouldn't even let you talk to the tech and his boss wouldn't even return my call!! The tech at the new dealership talked cars with me for about 15 minutes and said he always checks out websites (Prowler, Viper, Ram, etc.) so that he always has the latest and most up to date information. He does my recall next Wednesday.

I can top that BLU...My service manager lets me UNDER the car and lets me help as they work on it. They realize my familiarity with the car is almost on par with their technical know-how. I thanked him last time for letting me in the garage and letting me put hands on the car while it was in there. he told me I am the ONLY person they let do something like that. How can I ever go to another dealer service after this treatment!? I promised never to sue if I got hurt in the service area.. Sometimes small town dealers have advantages...Not as cold to customers. I feel very lucky to have the relationship that I do with my service dept especially with this car. If I owned ANY other car, I would just drop it off and not care, but it's a Prowler, a unique car, and a car I enter in shows. they understand that....
