The new garage "Kat-house" is coming along slowly but surely. It is tough to find time to work on it but I have been busy most weekends and nearly everyday after work until sundown. I even skipped a Prowler cruise last weekend to hang the roll-up doors. I took some time off work a week ago and just myself and one other person framed the whole thing in just 4 days. I think that was the easy part. Of course it will be worth it when I am done. I sure need the extra space. The dogs are monitoring my progress daily to keep me on schedule.

Very nice. Looks like you'll have plenty of space. I'm jealous.

Very nice! It looks even bigger than fixumm's doublewide. One nice thing about doing the work yourself is you know exactly what you are getting. Good luck on completing it soon. Marty

Tom - nice storage area! Is Dawn your gopher? Can I hire the dogs for the Krehel Museum Security Task Force? My present watch dogs (Judy's) have been falling asleep on the job

GOPHER, Who you calling a gopher? I am the general contractor for the job. Good thing Tom can read the plans.AC, as far as the dogs go, (I can't believe I am saying this...) they have to stay. This photo was taken just after and prior to their scheduled naps. It's the 5 mins a day that they look like they are doing work around here.

We have a 2 vehicle carport. My Mother-in-law recently moved into a smaller townhouse and we did a spring cleaning, so one bay is full of excess stuff waiting for a yard sale. The Kat is in the other bay, covered at all times. The daily drivers (Tahoe & MB ML) are outside. It's driving me crazy! The wifey has been after me to build a new place and she's right when she says that I wouldn't ever do it if it wasn't for the lack of garage/shop space. ------------------

Nice Garage I'm SURE you'll have enough space. Hey Tangled up in BLUE, are all those Viper's yours? If so DAMN your lucky...I want one so bad. I would love to even test drive one, but for now I have to settle for playing Need For Speed 2 on the Playstation 2..LOL. 1999 Mustang 1997 Camaro 2000 Camaro 1999 Corvette 19 Year Old Prowler Owner 2004 Lotus (God Willing and Waiting)

TOY4REY... .....Yes, I am Viper crazy....Prowler crazy, Vette Crazy, just in general car crazy....don't remember where you are from, but if you ever get to east central Indiana, you got a free test drive ....I always think a nice garage is next on my list, then I find another car I want and forget about building....luckily, I have storage for most of my cars....the daily drivers sit out, and my orange Prowler sat out the last year or two....but the really good stuff is warm and dry...not pretty storage, but it works.....another recent shot I like... Tangled, I live close so be careful offering a ride & drive! A Viper or Cobra is the only thing I would consider trading my Prowler to. I will be in southern Indiana in July for a family reunion. Bring one to the Kentucky Speedway next November.

WOW Tangled up in Blue, that's great news, I really appreciate your offer your a really cool guy. The only problem is that I live near the Mexico border way south of Texas in a little town called Brownsville. Don't make to many East Central Indiana trips, but you sure are blessed to own such beautiful automobiles. Thanks again for that genourous offer. Do you feel the difference in HP and torque from the new 2003 Vipers? Nice Pic's! Do you have some more? Dawn - I'm just quoting Tom (that'll get me out of this, lol) Tom said you were the nail bucket girl at the construction site Didn't mention anything about you being the general contractor! I'll have to see your CA contractor's license before buying that line And now,,,I have to put up with Catwoman's eyebrow lifting up for making that gopher comment, lol. BTW - Tom, I didn't see the building permit nailed to the sticks on the job site? Is this a 'wood butcher' garage going up or can we assume all city codes will be met? Don't answer that if no permit!

Wow that's cool you lived in San Antonio, I don't like it much either I prefer San Marcos. Corpus to me is all expressway, never really got to see much of it though. In Brownsville it is really really really HOT we hardly get any rain what-so-ever, but it's pretty good cruising weather. When you went to Corpus did you come in the 2003 Viper, I'm sure it get's so many STARES, does it get more stares then the prowler? I hope to one day be successful and get those type of cars just like you. Your really lucky. 1999 Mustang 1997 Camaro 2000 Camaro 1999 Corvette 19 Year Old Prowler Owner 2004 Lotus (God Willing)

Thanks everyone, this is quite a project...David it is 40X50 Mr. Cat, or is it, Mr. Alley... This thing bolts together, no nails here..just lots of bolts and nuts...Thankfully we only have county requirements to deal with we as we do not live in a city of any sort. As far as seeing my license...I don't show that to just anyone.
