Have i found something rare?
was in a supermarket this morn, found a shelf of "motor max" 1/18 die cast models. 2 of them were chrysler howlers in black. i already have 5 black howlers, but can never have enough, so into the car they went.
when i got home i found one of the was black like all the others i have, but the other one was a very deep violet color, very metallic, same silver stripe around the hardtop, exactly like the black one, but in this violet/purple color.
both boes are identical, same part number#73118.
anybody have any info???
thx ---- sam the jeep man

I picked up a deep blue 1:18 and 1:24 but have not seen the purple. Bet it is sharp!

Thx for the reply Mike,
yes it is awesome in color, i have never seen any other colors other then the black and the gold/bronze which i already have, so this violet is a nice addition.
have you heard of anyone else having this violet color?
if i can figure out a way, i will try and take a picture of it, and submit it to the poa for posting.
again thx----------------sam

There are black, blue, and purple on ebay right now. you will have to look/read for the purple, but its there. I did notice that the purple was more expensive than the others.
