I would prefer a ragtop, but I would settle for a coupe.

I think they will eventually offer more options to appeal to a broader buyer base

Do you think it will look like the mock-up or will it be changed a lot?

Black coupe is what I am waiting for, unless the new Camaro comes out soon and is a little more refined than the concept is.

Due to buy another toy in the next year or so. At least it looks like I will have a good choice. The car manufactors are finally getting the message. Build a good looking fun car like they use to.

I'd like to see DCX build the Challenger but the big question is, will the average Joe be able to afford one...probably not.

Target price is same as Charger similarly equipped according to most reports published. Hopefully DC will produce a large enough intitial run to keep dealers form gouging with big mark ups over MSRP.

The Challenger concept was one that had our shop buzzing with excitement all year long as we got closer and closer to completion. We built it with an all carbon-fiber body and was designed with an 5-speed, then DCX gave the go-ahead to put in the 6 speed. We knew right away that it would be a hit with everyone. I'm glad they will go into production with it.

Another beautiful concept car built by Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters.

I'll second that.

I checked out a Dodge dealership here (Gulf Coast of Alabama) yesterday and asked that same question, sounds like he ( dealership owner ) plans on giving the sausage to the new buyers until that happens.

Gouging on this car will make the gouging on early Prowlers, 300C's, Chargers, etc. look CHEAP!

I don't know, several of the first prowlers went for mid to upper $100's and were auctioned by sealed bids.

I like it but, I don't need to be the first kid on the block with one. I'll gladly wait till prices drop BELOW sticker then pick one up. I never understand why folks pay over sticker (much less WAY OVER sticker) as EVERY car that does that drops like a rock in 1-2-3 years and then they are so upside down they'd have to sell their home to get out of it.

I doubt seriously that paying "way over" is an issue with the guys that can afford to do it...too bad I'm not one of them!! If I had TUIB's money, I would throw mine away!!
