...the local Chrysler Plant had open houses thru the years to invite the public and employees into the facility for food, games, doorprizes and a car show....in 1984 they were introducing the new minivan and the Dodge Daytona...I had a near perfect 10K mile 1969 Dodge Daytona and they wanted it to display with the new 1984 Daytona....I had the window sticker in the 69 Daytona that day and an elderly couple ventured up to the car and she looked the window sticker over closely and noticed the four thousand dollar price tag, then she looked at her husband and said "look, this one is a 1969 model and they haven't sold it yet", they tottered on down the aisle contemplating buying the car because it was so cheap I never did tell them any different...I was 32 years old and 50lbs lighter, my son Tom was 6 years old, he is now 6'5"....time sure does fly.... thanx to an old friend for finding this picture and sending it to me....
