This is not Dan Pena's art work. The artists name is William A Harper. Dan has used his work in some of his banners. You only have to modify a certain number of things or certain percent of an image to not be in violation of the copyright. Scroll down to Mopar and select Prowler to see the original art work.

I also modified Bills art work to look like our Prowler. In addition to the paint I changed the windshield, grille and center caps on the wheels, removed the front bumpers, added Tom Mills turn signal kit, clear side markers and added fender guards to the rear fenders. In one version I added a top.

Thanks for the explanation. Learn something new everyday on this site. I always thought that was Dan's art work on his banner.

prowlrman,

Thank you for looking out for me. Rich is correct. I paid $100 dollars to the author back some years ago at a Good Guys event to use his art.

I enjoyed it so much I had to use it on my banner. It was also used on a Prowler event in Canada.

I do not get the props for this prowler toon. I'm just a big fan of his prowler toons.

Later...
