This is basicly the car I wanted to buy before I got my kat. I didn't realize how prices had multiplied before I started my research. I have been in love with this type of Cuda since they first came out, the 71 in particular. I probably could swing this one if I sold my house, ...did I really say that? I better go now..............I'm thinking crazy thoughts. ------------------ |

Well ... this IS the kind of car to command such a price, if it is all legit and not "dummied up" -- a true MOPAR collector would be able to distinguish the difference. But very low mileage, original paint and appointments AND paperwork ... all equals higher valuation in the collector car market. To the extremely high price though, Vettes did this back when the tech boom was in its frenzy and there were more money than brains out there ... drove prices to insane levels as well ... and today, well .. they have come back to reality across the board except on the rarest of rare. Time will tell on MOPARS as well ... ... way too rich for my blood, plus black, yuck! lol |

Ray, I am hoping you are right about prices coming back to earth eventually. I have heard all the comments regarding this when I watch Barrett-Jackson. I would like to have a classic mopar cuda someday, always wanted one, and I am kind of fond of my home home right now, so I don't want to sell it just to get this Cuda. Besides ,I could live in the Cuda, but where would my wife go? Black is best!!!!!!! ------------------ |

...I sold this matching numbers 29K mile HEMI Daytona for $195K in 1990(worlds record at the time)....the same car sold again a couple of years ago for $800K....they may also break the magic million soon too... |
