To be honest, we were rather underwhelmed with the show. Other than the Challenger, there wasn't any car that I felt "I had to have". Pretty tired, so I will post some pics of the Challenger and the Camaro tonight, the rest I will do tomorrow. It's difficult to shoot pics in this arena, with all the different lighting. However, being the vendor day, there weren't as many people there at 8 a.m. then there would be on a day that it's open to the public. The paint was a beautiful, kind-of-pearl orange and these pics don't do it justice. Was an orange that would have been great on the Prowler.

We stood around the display a couple of different times and listened to the comments other vendors/press people were making. I didn't hear much negative. I heard a lot of comments that they were glad that Chrysler stayed much more true to the Challenger of old than they had done with the Charger.........and they were very pleased about it.

I don't think it would affect the price of the 70~74 Challengers at all. The new Mustangs has not hurt the older stangs that I have heard of.........and if it did I doubt Chrysler would care less about the value of a car that is 35 years old I like the look, it has been a quite a few mags this past month. I would like to see more sidewall on the tires and backend looks chopped off in all the pictures I have seen of it, but otherwise VERY COOL

Yes, I agree, it's great Chrysler stayed with a two door Challenger. I really was disappointed to see a four door Charger in the showroom, and even more so when I drove one. Hey..did you see or take photos of the new Hertiage 300C? Thanks for posting auto show action.
