Well, we're back from the show. Spent the entire day there. To be honest, we were rather underwhelmed with the show. Other than the Challenger, there wasn't any car that I felt "I had to have". Pretty tired, so I will post some pics of the Challenger and the Camaro tonight, the rest I will do tomorrow. It's difficult to shoot pics in this arena, with all the different lighting. However, being the vendor day, there weren't as many people there at 8 a.m. then there would be on a day that it's open to the public. The paint was a beautiful, kind-of-pearl orange and these pics don't do it justice. Was an orange that would have been great on the Prowler.

As I said, the pics don't really do the car justice. We stood around the display a couple of different times and listened to the comments other vendors/press people were making. I didn't hear much negative. I heard a lot of comments that they were glad that Chrysler stayed much more true to the Challenger of old than they had done with the Charger.........and they were very pleased about it.

Next week I'll begin working on the wife to talk her into a Challenger when they build it! I like it a lot, especially with the hemi and six speed. Thanks Bob and CJ!

I couldn't agree more with you, thanks for the pics also. Now to the big question, when can we expect DC to announce if/when DC will build it? Thanks, Al

I CAN'T IMAGINE THAT DODGE WOULD MAKE THIS CAR IN THE BODY STYLE WE ARE SEEING, THIS WOULD KILL THE OLD CHALLENGER IN PRICE.

I don't think it would affect the price of the 70~74 Challengers at all. The new Mustangs has not hurt the older stangs that I have heard of.........and if it did I doubt Chrysler would care less about the value of a car that is 35 years old
I like the look, it has been a quite a few mags this past month. I would like to see more sidewall on the tires and backend looks chopped off in all the pictures I have seen of it, but otherwise VERY COOL

I'd like to see it with a modern version of the T/A rear spoiler, maybe with a little more rearward slant.

Yes, I agree, it's great Chrysler stayed with a two door Challenger. I really was disappointed to see a four door Charger in the showroom, and even more so when I drove one. Hey..did you see or take photos of the new Hertiage 300C? Thanks for posting auto show action.
