O.K. - since we added our GT 'stang to our stable last week, I got a ton of questions but do NOT want to join a Mustang club to do so

I know Geno owns one ........anyone else got a '05 or '06 Mustang ??

If so, have you changed brake pads to ceramic to avoid that NASTY break dust ?

Any other mods you have done so far ?

any Mustang owner ought to check out this site....FANGPERFORMANCE.COM

a friend of mine owns this place and they are making Shelby conversions for new Mustangs...prices are reasonable and the finished product is a knockout...the black Mustang has the 67 hood/grill etc....

the Yelo conv was my favorite with the 68 hood look....I especially like the ducktail spoilers....I looked the cars over up close and personal...I talked to the local dealer today about getting a 2007 Mustang GT vert to get it done next fall....do yourself a favor and check out this stuff close....he has been in the industry for many years and is well known....top notch work...

ps...they are currently working on the 69 Mach I Shaker Hood...available soon...

"that look"

consists of the 67 hood, eyebrow extensions for the headlights, custom grill, lower front spoiler and the rear ducktail spoiler...all easily installed or they will do it with a 2 week turn around....I was so impressed with their work I checked into a Mustang Gt conv yesterday....

Geno,
I looked at a few different ones, including the one YOU got,
but since the check book is STILL locked up in the wife's purse I had to come with an alternative .......which I did........I used 2 flowmaster mufflers, picked the tips I liked and had them (and the hangers) welded on to the mufflers and that's the result - I'm VERY pleased with the sound - it's not too loud but QUITE agressive.

The whole thing cost me $ 150,- ......which I could pay in cash for ...........

nice looking ride Dusti....

This is what i was talking about for stripes.....me thinks it would take quite a while to get sick of this....

if you go vinyl...it would be inexpensive and removable...

I have an '05...nothing drastic mod'd so far. Changed the antenna to a shorty, added an aftermarket interior package, removed the hydrocarbon filter, and added sequential taillights.

Anybody changed to ceramic brake pads ?

I've gotten so used to those on the Prowler that I was
pretty disgusted with the 1/4" of brake dust on the mustang wheels

Dustis,
After seeing the difference on the Prowler...I would change to ceramics no matter what vehicle just to eliminate that damn brake dust.

By the way...nice Stangs guys!!!
