We're all in trouble if the Supreme Court has to get involved in this dispute.

1..."Love Machine", the Roosters, not the same Roosters that evolved into the Yardbirds w/Clapton...

6..."If You Don't Know", George Hamilton IV...late fifties vintage, I still have the 45 RPM...

7..."Why Don't We Do It In The Road", Beatles...I thought everyone would get this...

14..."Delilah", Tom Jones, seventies TV show crap...

17 ..."Look Out, Here Comes Tomorrow", Monkees...should have been a big hit for them...

19..."Dog Faced Boy", Eels

21..."Snowblind Friend", Steppenwolf

24..."Monterey", Eric Burdon and the Animals

29..."Elusive Butterfly", Bob Lind...nice sixties pop song

31..."Cheater Slicks", 4 Speeds...really obscure hot rod song...didn't think anyone would get this one

32..."My Ding a Ling", Chuck Berry

34..."Sunshine Girl", the Parade...good sixties psychedellic pop

35..."Goodbye Cruel World", James Darren

36..."Johnny Angel", Shelly Fabare

41..."Jesus Christ Superstar"....Original Broadway Cast

44..."Texas Radio and the Big B", Doors

45..."Gloria", Shadows of Knight, Doors etc etc etc...

48..."Girl on LSD", Tom Petty

49..."Rain on the Roof", Lovin Spoonful...sixties hit...

any ideas on the bonus question...

Roger Miller was the "do wack a doo" guy

the Eggplant was killed in a fierce confrontation with a one eyed one horned flying purple eater late this afternoon, just south of O'Hare Airport...

TUIB - I guess I'm easily amused. When I found the CD by Dr. West's Medicine Show & Junk Band (aka Norman Greenbaum) with "Eggplant" I was SO happy for weeks. I loved that some for some strange reason.

I knew "Spirit in the Sky" (1970?), but had no previous knoweledge of Greenbaum....funny how a certain song can bring back such good memories, or a chuckle....
