I got a XM radio system for Christmas from my wife.

Any comments on them would be appreciated. i.e. How do you like, limitations, tips, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Randy., I really want to get it. Alot of my friends have gone for the Sirrius because of Stern, but I like the lineup with XM better.

I spend a lot of time on station 150 (Comedy XL) and 153 (Canadian comedy XL).
"Alternative rock" 44, 47, 54.
Good mix of new/popular stuff = 22
Classic rock = 46

I was never inclined to get it on my own, despite several other prowler owners having installed & loving it....then I rec'd as a bday gift last year.

I love xm! Especially now that they have all those baseball channels. Seriously, it is wonderful and I wish I had a factory installed system. I have both the Roady (got it for my prowler) and the Roady 2. First one is now converted so I have xm in the house...the Roady 2 is in my truck because it has the fm modulator (no cassette). You can listen to your favorite stations wherever you travel and you get plenty of choices too. Personally, I'm stuck on the soul station (60) but the oldies station is great, the jazz stations are great and the comedy channel is fantastic.

Enjoy!!!!

We have XM in my wife's Escalade. In my vehicle, I don't. Every chance I get to drive the Escalade, I take it and I absolutely love it. My fav's are channels: 73-"Frank's Place," 77-"Audio Visions," 81-"BPM," and 127-"CNBC." Well worth the 2 year contract price of $ 140.00
