Just got an ipod nano for my birthday - what is best, least expensive site with a good selection of titles to download? Does anyone have their ipod hooked up to the Prowler radio? |

Marty, I just use iTunes with my nano. It's probably the easiest one to use. It also makes loading CD's just a couple clicks. .99 a song is crazy for the downloads though. I didn't download too many since I have a ton of Cd's to start with.

Marty, congrats on your ipod.........: We've got one too and we LOVE it ......there are a couple of ways of hooking it up to the radio : The EASY way (and inexpensive) is a casette adapter - I ran the cable under the console and have it come out in the cupholder...... The OTHER way (more expensive) is to buy a wiring harness which runs about $ 200,- but this way you can use your behind-steering-wheel controls with it. PERSONALLY I was kinda skeptic about the Casette adapter but it works JUST FINE and with the ipod 'resting' on the cupholder you can see the display just fine. DOWNLOADS..........well, there are many sites as Ron mentioned you can download for $0.99 per song - LET ME KNOW Merry Christmas to you and Rebecca .........looking forward seeing you next year ! |

Download the free file sharing program called Limewire and download alsmost any song you want for free. This is how I mounted mine. |

I agree with Gary. I use Limewire to find ANYTHING; music, software (PC and Mac - I have both), videos you name it. If your conscience doesn't bother you in these matters. I still buy whole CDs from iTunes, but I "shop" for singles on Limewire. |

Thanks for the replies. My daughter told me about Limewire and I already have 629 songs downloaded! As soon as I get the ipod hooked up in the car I'm ready for a LONG cruise! |

Marty, Here's a device that can turn the CD port to RCA plugs. |

Marty, Best Buy sells a FM transmiter that plugs into the headphone port on the Ipod and sends a signal to an FM setting on your stereo. It uses 3 AAA batteries and is less than $20. You can find them in the Portable CD area at Best Buy. Bought one for my wife to use in the Caravan. It's under the tree as I type this. I hope this helps. |

MARTY, THE BEST WAY TO GO IS WITH THE CASSETTE ADAPTER, THE SOUND IS MUCH BETTER THAT THE SIGNAL FROM THE FM RADIO, THEIR IS ALSO THE HOLDER WHICH WAS $100.00 A YEAR AGO AT BEST BUY, IT PLUGS INTO THE CIG LIGHTER AND STAYS CHARGED ALL THE TIME. RICK |

My son bought me an adapter for the car so I'll try it in the morning. I'm up to 13.7 hours of songs at this point! |
