It's costing a loss of $400 million a day in lost business $$$ to NYC. I predict the union will not pay the fine,,,,negotiate it down,,,,will have their way and win at the table.

usually wrong, never in doubt

I predict they will "double or nothing" on "3 card monte" to settle the fine.

That show is a little lame. But, something to pass the time.

Just heard on the news that a NYC bus driver makes $60,000 a year.

I will post my new address as soon as I get settled.

Or send the judge who made that ruling a copy of the original GODFATHER movie. Wonder if the judge owns a horse?

Everyone in New York just put "bicycle" on their Christmas list.

I would bet with the cost of living in NYC, $ 60,000 is not all that good and I would believe you would not have a lot of GOOD days, no matter which route you drove. I wouldn't want to do it for $ 60,000. Course, I don't want to work, period.

NYC also banned cars with less than four people until the strike is over. I see a law suit coming from the sports car driving lawyers!

This has made getting into and around the city even more of a nightmare. They are going back to work now with service starting overnight. Everything is supposed to be back to normal by tomorrow afternoon. Here's hoping...

Now I'm really baffled. They are striking because the employee contribution to their pension is being raised from 2% to 6%, FOR NEW HIRES ONLY! Are these people nuts. They just lost 6 days pay for something that will never effect them directly or indirectly. How dumb!
