Was one of my favorite cars the 70 AMX. Light weight and a 390 muscle engine. . Always thought Studebaker was miles ahead in style. Do not know what show this car was for though.

Check out this Stuudie-- I found out at the show that Studebaker/Packard had merged in 54. This is one of the few cars that carried the Packard emblem.

The Packard Hawk was the last named with that Packard badge. 1958 was powered by the Studie 289, 275 HP with the McCulloch supercharger. Only 588 were built. Oddly enough the Studebaker - Packard Co, and Nash - Kelvinator Co. were to merge with The Hudson Motor Car Co. to form the new American motors but the owner of Nash passed away and some guy named Romney ended up nixing the deal. Spelled the doom of 2 companies. Ahh the friendly auto business.

Sure it was Kelvinator Co? I thought it was Kaiser Aluminum Co. that built Kaiser cars? I'm probably wrong, as usual, lol.

I think Kelvinator was part of Powell Crosley's refrigerator companies. He was into cars, also, so it is possible.
