so much for putting the top down on the Vette :

I did a little shoveling so Cookie could find her way to the Jeep...she makes $1.25 per hour, I can't let her take a day off due to snow....

All I care is that we have snow at Christmas....makes it just right!
I love the change of seasons period....winter is a lot of fun if you're into snowmobiling, skiing etc.
As much as I love the sun and water sports,I don't think I'd want it 365 days a year,my opinion only!

We got hit with about 8 inches. The drive to work on Friday morning was better than I expected....road crews were out in force in the early morning hours. I am tired of the cold and snow as well! And, I miss driving my Prowler!

a couple of days ago I went out barefooted in the snow to get the mail(rarely wear shoes) , slipped on the ice and busted my a$$ big time .....my right arm hasn't worked well since...really pizzed me off to get injured, especially from something so simple as getting the mail:.....can't even feed myself (or scratch my a$$) with my right hand yet....I just hate wearing shoes, 2-3 hours a day is about it for me...

The real reason TUIB doesn't wear shoes is because he's deformed! Below is a photo, stolen from his podiatrist's office, which clearly shows his unfortunate deformity.

Larry:

Twinkie just emailed me the following pictures of your shoes. She said she has tried to buy you some new shoes, but you insist on wearing the ones in your closet.

Good one Miller TUIB - nice toe jam, lol.

Geno - sorry to hear about your fall, but look at the positive side of it,,,,,maybe a doctor will sign you out on total disability and you'll be able to move out of the frozen tundra and back to Texas. Get well soon!

Tangled, on behalf of the Prowler community, I apologize for A/C not knowing Tangled from Geno. lol
Last Sat. we got an ice storm. It all melted. Unfortunately some of it melted off the rear porch roof onto the rear steps on Sunday. I went down 4 concrete steps without hitting any of them. Did it on the fly. Luckily I had some items in my left hand so that hand did not get hurt. I grabbed the railing with my right, apparently, so I did not hit my head, because I pulled myself up in mid-flight. I had on a thick hooded sweatshirt and a leather jacket so I got cushioned somewhat. I was pretty sore for a few days, though. It would have been a good one on funniest home movies, probably. I was really lucky not to have gotten hurt a lot worse. Since then I have talked to 4 or 5 others that took serious falls on Sunday.

Sorry Geno,,,,how could I confuse you with Tangled up in Cookie Lard,,,, I'll schedule an eye exam next week.

TUICL - So you were looking when we took that whiz at the restaurant in Wisconsin,,,,,I thought so! I'm surprised you didn't re-up while in the Army. Must be a small town Indiana, farm boy thing, lol.

I notice the older I get that it is hard to limp on both legs while you "favor" your sore back.

naw, there were a couple of hints that gave it away in Wisconsin....I heard a lady in an orange Prowler complaining about her escort, said he was hung like a second grader...and I heard there was a guy with a ponytail that hovered over the urinal chanting "come on little buddy, come on little buddy"....some of the guys thought you were dreaming about a Gilligans Island episode...then Howard sends me a copy of the picture you mailed him for his birthday....it kinda looked like a WEENER, only lots smaller....
