On Saturday, Dec. 3rd, 2005 ROUTAL Racing drove to another 1st place finish in Vintage V8 Class. That makes a clean-sweep for 2005 - five races - five 1st place finishes. Jimmy drove the 30 min Practice session & the 20 min Feature race and I drove the 15 min Qualifying race setting a new track record for Vintage V8 with a lap time of 1:25:1. And, Jimmy set a new personal best lap time of 1:27:8 in the Feature and finished over ½ lap ahead of our nearest competitor.

In other classes Ralph Wicker won the GTO Championship in a Vette. And, Mike Poupart won the track Championship in Super Production driving a Viper and took a 1st place win over John Crosby and his Porsche in the final race of the season crossing the finish line with John at his door panel... That was an exciting race and the last two laps were nail-biters...

Me & Jimmy after his 1st place win...

Here's me after my Qualiying race...

Early lap action in Feature race...

Tight race in Super Production - Last lap going into last turn heading for finish line...

Our family & pit crew after win in Feature...

some of our fans... actually my granddaughter Maddy (check out the shirt) with my daughter & soninlaw...

The 2006 Grand Bayou Series starts Jan. 15th, 2006 with our 1st road race on the 1.8 mile track (14 turns) of side by side racing at No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose...

Congratulations Laddie! Looks like the movie helpped your lap times, just kidding! Glad to see that things are getting back to normal for you down there. How is your subdivision project progressing?

Thanks Marty, Bob & Wayne. It's been a fun ride... Bob. Three homes almost complete (two nephews & niece) and hope to start on my house & sister house in January. My shop/kitchen/Hide-a-way is complete (been living there splitting time between there & Mandeville for about two months)...

I have some pics and albums from family subdivision and my Hideaway at this link...
